LineCall for Android
Terms of Use
These terms explain the basic rules for using LineCall, including paid features. LineCall is published by André Ferreira in Portugal. Questions can be sent to contact@wwandre.com.
1. Using LineCall
LineCall helps you record and review photo-finish results. You may use the app for lawful personal or event-related purposes in accordance with these terms and the rules of the venue or event. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions needed to record people or use a camera at your event. Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or infringe others' rights.
2. Timing and results
Results depend on camera position, lighting, device performance, user input, and other conditions. LineCall is a practical timing aid, not a certified timing system. Check important results independently before using them for official decisions, prizes, safety, or disputes. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
3. Your race content
You keep rights to recordings, images, race names, and results you create. You are responsible for the content you record and share. LineCall stores races on your device; Recent races expire after 48 hours unless saved, while Saved races remain until deleted. Device loss, app removal, or clearing app data can remove local races. Export important results and manage your own backups. See the Privacy Policy for details, including Android backup and device transfer.
4. Paid features and Google Play
Prices and the features included in an offer are shown in the app and Google Play before purchase. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are associated with the Google account used for purchase. A one-time unlock, if offered, provides the access described at the time of purchase; it is not a subscription. You can use the app's Restore Purchases option when applicable. Refund requests and billing issues are handled through Google Play or by contacting us; your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
5. Availability and changes
We may fix bugs, change features, or update LineCall to keep it working with supported Android devices and Play services. We may suspend a feature when needed for security, legal compliance, or technical reasons. We will not intentionally remove purchased access without addressing applicable legal obligations and consumer rights.
6. Responsibility
Use LineCall with appropriate care. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate race setup, use of results without independent verification, or loss of locally stored content outside our control. We do not exclude or restrict liability where the law does not allow it, including mandatory consumer protections.
7. Law and contact
Portuguese law applies to these terms, without taking away any mandatory protections you have in your country of residence. If there is a problem, contact us first at contact@wwandre.com. We may update these terms for future use of the app; the current version and its date will be posted here.
